Moonchild Baking Co. is a micro-bakery passion project started by me, Alanna Levan. Baking has been a core part of my life since I was a child, from baking tray after tray of cookies with my grandmother and dropping spoonfuls of No Bake cookies onto parchment paper with my mother to then creating and sharing a variety of other desserts of my own with friends and family as an adult.

In my early twenties I moved abroad to South Korea, where I quickly realized the only way I could get a good dessert was if I made it myself. I began making my childhood favorites and sharing them with friends, introducing them to American classics, from cookies to whoopie pies. Over the nine years that I lived there, I continued to experiment with new types of flavors and kinds of desserts, and even began making desserts for my friends’ different events, including weddings.

My goal with starting Moonchild Baking Co. is to provide the same joy with my desserts that I felt baking and sharing desserts with my family as a child, and later with my friends abroad as an adult. Moonchild Baking Co. is here to provide you with desserts for every moment in your life, from holidays with the family to picnics with friends, because life deserves to be celebrated.
